COMOSS JAPAN Brand Showroom Officially Opens, Creating a Manufacturing Base in Japan
COMOSS Electronic Co., Ltd., the Japan company of the COMOSS Group, has completed and activated our new office and brand showroom located in Akishima City, Tokyo. This site will, in the future, integrate office operations, product display, a smart factory, warehouse space, and employee dormitories, serving as the COMOSS Group's development base for deep cultivation of the Japanese market.
The brand experience zone, newly completed in August, is not only a daily office space but also displays the full line of COMOSS machine vision cables and diverse electronic connection solutions, such as long haul (long-distance) cables, cleanroom cable solutions, and LPM (Low Pressure Molding) waterproof process application samples, allowing clients to deeply understand and practically experience COMOSS's product features and quality.
The COMOSS brand showroom also invited four groups of VIP clients for an early experience in September this year. Our Group Chief Technology Officer (CTO) explained solution details and advantages tailored to each VIP client's individual product interests, and introduced new customized cable assembly products, including the cleanroom cable solutions with surging demand in the semiconductor industry and multi-port cable solutions designed according to clients' on-site equipment installation needs. This demonstrated COMOSS's ability to integrate engineering and manufacturing, and our determination to deeply cultivate the Japanese market.
Integrated Office-Factory Plan: Smart Factory from Taipei to be Fully Introduced Next Year
The new venue adopts an "integrated office-factory" plan. Besides the already activated second-floor office and display area, the first floor serves as the manufacturing area. COMOSS plans to fully transplant the lean digitalization and human-machine collaboration features of the Taipei Smart Factory, achieving high-efficiency and high-quality Made in Japan manufacturing energy to service Japanese clients locally. This aims to improve product delivery efficiency and promote customized project collaborations, further strengthening COMOSS's key position in the Japanese machine vision industry chain.
Phased Activation: Manufacturing Equipment to Enter by Year-End, Full Completion Next Year
The activation of the new site will be carried out in phases. Following the activation of the office area and display zone, manufacturing equipment is expected to enter the factory area by the end of this year. The entire integrated office-factory facility is expected to be fully completed and operational next year.
